Consisting of 17000 islands , we are the Largest Archipelago Country with 17% of the world's Coral reef.

Living in a country known as the heart of the Coral Triangle is a blessing. When I was 8 years old, I wondered what life beneath the ocean is like and how deep the ocean really goes.
My father is an experienced diver. At the age of 11, I joined him on a dive trip for the first time and saw how peaceful it is to be in the ocean and to hear nothing but your own breathing through the regulator. At the age of 13, I got my Open water scuba diving certification from PADI. Since then, I have received my advanced open water certification and started bringing my camera when diving. Shooting underwater wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. Controlling my buoyancy while taking photos of sea creatures was very challenging, but I persisted and improved my underwater photography skills.

One of my favorite dive spots is called "Big fish country" in Maratua Island, Borneo, Indonesia. Although the currents are really strong there, there are many interesting sea creatures to see. From treasure sharks to Baraccudas, this dive spot is like watching a cinema under the sea.

Another favorite dive spot of mine is the USS liberty ship wreck northeast of Bali, Indonesia. This was the first place I ever dove and I know it very well as I frequently dive there. The most interesting creatures in this spot are the bumphead parrotfish, turtles, and jack fish.

Although I have never been, Komodo National Park is at the top of my list. Diving in Komodo is not for beginners, the current is very strong and unpredictable. This Dive spot is one of the most dangerous spots in Indonesia. Every year, according to the statistic, at least 5 divers lose their lives there. Komodo Island has more than 30 Dive spots around the island. The one I can't wait to go to is Manta Point, where you can swim along with the Mantas.
